π What we're looking for
We are searching for a Data Integration Intern to develop software integrations across various platforms to increase efficiency and support data-driven decision-making within the Service Engineering team. In this role, you will identify, plan, and execute integration strategies, create internal tools, and ensure ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of your builds. As a Data Integration Intern, you will work with different technologies and platforms, such as Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, Power BI, Python, APIs, GitLab, Odoo, and much more.
π Responsibilities
- Develop integrations with data from the Service Engineering team;
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements using different tools and technologies, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, designing infrastructure for scalability, etc;
- Work with multiple internal stakeholders (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Software, Hardware, etc.) to understand data requirements and design technical specifications for data integration solutions;
- Perform data analysis to identify data patterns/trends;
- Develop ETL/ELT processes to use data from different sources;
- Configure and maintain data integration tools and platforms;
- Generate reports and dashboards to visualize data;
- Create automated systems for notifications, alerts for internal & external use;
- Collaborate with other teams on data-related projects;
- Document data integration processes and procedures.
π οΈ Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field;
- (Must have) Experience in object-oriented and data-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, Java);
- (Must have) Experience in working with APIs;
- (Nice to have) Experience/knowledge with ETL/ELT processes and data modelling;
- (Nice to have) Experience/knowledge with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI);
