🔍 What we're looking for

We are looking for accountable, passionate & energetic person with a hands-on mindset to join our R&D team.

The R&D team has two main missions:

• Exploring new technologies to improve our inspection system;
• Explore new applications for the SMARTEX system in textile and adjacent industries;

It is a multidisciplinary team involved in all technical areas, so curiosity and interest in different areas are a must for a successful candidate. Multiple technical skills might be required, such as technical drawing, optics, mechanics, statistics, electricity/electronics, data visualization, etc.

👇 Responsibilities

• Technical and market assessment of new applications of SMARTEX system in order to validate the technological and market approach;
• Devise the strategy and product approach that will follow for implementing SMARTEX systems in new machines and markets;
• Develop and apply an internal assessment tool that will facilitate the analysis of new technologies and rate their importance;
• Analyse & calculate the impact of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence in the business metrics of multiple industries.

🛠️ Skills & Experience

• Industry knowledge and curiosity for understanding industrial processes;
• Hands-on technical and business mindset;
• Strong knowledge of productivity tools (Google Docs, Notion, PowerBI, and similar)
• Excelente reporting and presenting skills;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese;
