🔍 What we're looking for

Smartex is growing FAST — and is growing our team to build awesome products that shake up the textile industry. We’re looking for an intern to join our frontend development team to help deliver functional, scalable, and user-friendly Web & Mobile applications for industrial usage.

You will be working with modern frameworks (Angular, React.js, React Native, NestJs), deployed in a modern cloud environment (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD) taking advantage of automation pipelines, and using modern development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, etc). You will work closely with the Heads of the Backend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams.

👇 Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Writing clean and efficient code for web/mobile applications
• Monitoring the performance of live apps and working on optimizing them at the code level
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs, and enhancing application performance
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

🛠️ Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with Javascript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with React, Angular, and Redux
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills; the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment; the ability to set priorities and manage time and multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Knowledge of development best practices and standards; familiarity with web accessibility principles, standards, and guidelines
• Work experience writing unit/integration tests (or a strong interest in learning how)
• Fluency in English
