🔍 What we're looking for

The textile industry is the 2nd most polluting industry in the world! As a response to this huge challenge Smartex is deploying hardware and software to help factories reducing the waste. On the Operational front, the team is picking hardware systems and and shipping them worldwide, doing it at scale.

👇Responsibilities

• Report of the as-is scenario regarding flows and processes of the warehouse
• List the improvement opportunities on a to-be scenario
• Ability to implement on the shopfloor the opportunities identified
• KPI Dashboard that allows to track the benefits of the implementation
• This Thesis will have the following focuses:
  • Onboarding & contextualization of the warehouse scope and the components (1 weeks)
  • Design and map the process flow on the warehouse (4 weeks)
  • Identify & design improvement opportunities (5 weeks)
  • Implement tools and Kaizen frameworks to optimize the operations (3 weeks)
  • Track and report the KPIs that allow to track the benefits of the implementations (5 weeks)

🛠️ Skills & Experience

• Currently enrolled in Master's degree program in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Must have: fluency in English
• Nice to have: Python knowledge
• Nice to have: experience in Power BI
• Nice to have: Notion knowledge
