🎯 Your mission

As a Software Architect at Smartex.ai, you will lead the design effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment. You’ll architect solutions to real industry problems. You will work closely with other partners such as product and marketing managers, designers, QA, and other software engineers to develop current and new product offerings and improve the performance and scalability of the solution.

🔍 What we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to make intuitive high-level decisions for software development. You will see the “big picture” and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team in embedded systems projects and web projects.

The goal is to provide a framework for the development of software/systems that will result in high-quality IT solutions.

👇 Responsibilities

Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of the desired product
Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to the development team
Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with the initial design
Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
Document and record every aspect of an application or software

🛠️ Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a software architect
Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods
Understanding of software quality assurance principles
A technical mindset with great attention to detail
High quality organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
Technical knowledge of python, node.js, and react.js and SQL
Fluency in English
Extra points for Machine Learning related experience
Extra points for experience in the Textile industry or other manufacturing activities
